Introducing our new off-road adventure partner
Desert Rose Off-Road Riding Academy is an off-road motorbike training school in the UK founded by Dakar Rally veteran and champion Patsy Quick. They provide off-road riding courses, overseas adventure tours, electric bike experiences, and mechanical preparation for riders of all skill levels.
Off-Road Training Courses

How can I tell if my bike is a good fit for this event?
Off-road motorbike, or dirt bikes, are specially made for riding on rough terrain like sand, gravel, rivers, mud, or snow. They’re usually lighter and more flexible than regular motorbikes, with longer suspension travel, higher ground clearance, and higher gears to give them more power when riding off-road.
At Moto-Union, we want to have a fun event where we can all share our love for motorbikes, so we’re pretty open to accepting any kind of off-road bike. If you’re still not sure though, just get in touch and we’ll let you know if your bike is a good fit.
